Privacy policy

Effective October 20, 2026

Dental Creations, Inc. (“Dental Creations,” “we,” “our” or “us”) is a dental laboratory in Revere, Massachusetts. This policy explains what information we collect through dentalcreationsinc.com (the “site”), how we use and store it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the choices you have. The site is intended for licensed dental professionals and their staff. It does not cover information we receive outside the site, such as physical impressions, except where it says so.

Summary

  • We collect what you send us (inquiries and cases) and basic technical information about visits.
  • We use it to answer you, make and deliver your restorations, run the lab and keep the site secure.
  • We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context advertising or use it to build advertising profiles.
  • We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, with advertising features turned off. It does not run if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
  • Case files are stored privately, are never public on the web and are shared with the lab by expiring links.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact form. Your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, practice name, the reason for your inquiry, the products you are interested in and your message.
  • Online case submission. The doctor’s name, practice name and address, email, phone and license number; the patient’s initials or your case ID; prescription details such as teeth, restoration type, materials, shade and implant information; your instructions; and any files you upload, such as intraoral scans, photographs and prescription documents.
  • Email, phone and in person. Anything you send us directly, including scans and prescriptions sent by email or through a scanner portal, and the details on physical prescriptions sent with impressions.
  • Account and billing details. For practices that work with us: billing contacts, invoices, payment records and delivery addresses.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information for each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting and preventing abuse.
  • Submission records. When you send the contact form or submit a case, we record the date and time and the IP address it came from with that message or case record.
  • Visit counts. Each page view sends a small count to our own server: the page, the referring website (the site name only) and whether the device is a phone, tablet or computer. These are added into daily totals with no IP address or identifier attached.
  • Google Analytics. See “Cookies and analytics” below.
  • Spam and abuse protection. To limit repeated or automated submissions, we temporarily store a one-way hashed value derived from your IP address and the times of recent submissions. These entries expire within a day.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, to understand which pages are useful, how visitors find the site and where the site can be improved. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies and similar technology to recognize a browser across visits and to collect information such as pages viewed, time on page, links and buttons clicked, approximate location (city or region, derived from your IP address, which Google Analytics does not store or log), device, browser and the site that referred you. We have turned off Google signals and advertising personalization, we do not send names, email addresses or form contents to Google, and we do not use Google Analytics data for advertising.

CookieSet byPurposeLasts

The site sets no other cookies. Your browser also keeps a temporary marker in session storage, cleared when you close the tab, so our own visit count can tell a new visit from the next page of the same visit. Fonts and the rest of the site’s code are served from our own server.

Your choices. If your browser or a privacy extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics does not load at all. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works the same either way. Google’s use of the data is described in its privacy policy and in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Patient information

Case submissions may include information about your patients. Please share only what is needed to fabricate the restoration: use the patient’s initials or your own case ID instead of a full name where possible, and leave out unrelated health history. We use patient-related information only to design, fabricate, deliver and support the restoration you prescribed, and to keep the business records related to that case. We never use it for marketing, and we never send it to analytics or advertising services. Please do not include patient information in the general contact form or in email subject lines.

Dental laboratories can act as business associates of the practices they work with under HIPAA. If your practice requires a Business Associate Agreement before sending us protected health information, contact us before you submit a case.

How we use information

  • To respond to inquiries and set up new accounts
  • To receive, review, fabricate, deliver and support your cases, including remakes and adjustments
  • To schedule pickups, deliveries and shade appointments
  • To send case confirmations and other messages about your cases and your account
  • To invoice, collect payment and keep business, tax and legal records
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it
  • To protect the site, our systems and our clients against fraud, spam and abuse
  • To comply with the law and respond to lawful requests

We may send occasional updates about lab services to practices we work with. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will not send them again. Messages about your cases and your account are not marketing and continue while we work together.

How we store and protect it

  • The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections with strict security headers, so forms and uploads are encrypted in transit.
  • Uploaded case files are stored on our hosting account in a private folder outside the public website. They cannot be reached from the web.
  • Uploads are checked: only scan, image and document formats are accepted, and files that contain script code are rejected.
  • The lab is notified of new cases by email. That email includes the prescription details and download links for the uploaded files. Each link is unique, works only for its file and expires after 180 days.
  • Access to case files and records is limited to Dental Creations staff and the service providers listed below, who are bound to use the information only to provide their services to us.
  • Email sent from dentalcreationsinc.com is protected with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, so messages from the site can be verified and impersonation is harder.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect the information you send us, consistent with Massachusetts data security regulations (201 CMR 17.00). If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law, including Massachusetts General Laws chapter 93H.

How long we keep it

  • Cases and uploaded files: as long as needed to fabricate, deliver and support the restoration, including remakes and adjustments, and to meet our business, tax and legal record-keeping obligations.
  • Contact form messages and correspondence: as part of our ordinary business correspondence.
  • Visit counts: daily totals, kept for about 13 months.
  • Google Analytics: event-level data is kept for the retention period set in our Analytics account (currently two months), after which only aggregated reports remain.
  • Abuse-protection entries: they expire within a day.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and the lab, and only as needed for them to provide their services:

  • Website hosting: Hostinger, which hosts the site, stores uploaded files and processes server logs.
  • Website management: The Deady Group, which builds, maintains and secures the site and reviews visit statistics and form activity to keep it working well.
  • Analytics: Google, which provides Google Analytics as described above.
  • Email delivery: our email providers, which deliver contact form messages, case notifications and confirmations.
  • Shipping carriers: for practices outside our local delivery area, the information needed to ship a case.
  • Professional advisers: such as accountants and lawyers, where needed and under a duty of confidentiality.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Dental Creations, our clients or others. If the lab is sold or merged, records may transfer to the new owner, who must continue to protect them as this policy describes.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your choices and rights

  • Access, correction and deletion. You can ask us for a copy of the personal information you have given us, or ask us to correct or delete it. We may need to keep certain records, such as invoices or case records, where the law requires it or where they are needed to support work we have delivered.
  • Analytics. Use Global Privacy Control, your browser’s cookie settings or Google’s opt-out add-on, as described above.
  • Updates from us. Ask us to stop sending service updates at any time.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will confirm the request comes from you or someone authorized to act for you, and we will respond within 30 days. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights; we will honor them where they apply, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
